Lord Kirkham also had a celebration, with 2026 marking his quarter century as President of Driffield, with Colin Woodward making the presentation.
This year, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Driffield Championship Dog Show, we also mark a second milestone: the 25th anniversary of Lord Kirkham’s invitation to become our President — a position he has served with remarkable commitment and enthusiasm.
Throughout those 25 years, Graham has been far more than a ceremonial figurehead. He has taken a keen and active interest in every aspect of the Society and the show, and his attendance at Best in Show each year reflects the depth of his support and the value he places on our work.
Lord and Lady Kirkham have become an integral part of the Driffield family. Their encouragement, involvement, and generosity have enriched our Society, and we extend our heartfelt thanks for everything they have contributed over the past quarter‑century.
