John Johnston
John Johnston has passed away after a short illness. John had been involved with Driffield Ch Show from when it was affiliated to the Agricultural Society.
He and his colleague Rob Farsnworth continued to support the society following its separation from the Ag.- supporting the Society on its move from Doncaster Racecourse to Wetherby Racecourse and more recently to Stafford whilst attending meetings and the Championship Show.
Johns passing marks the end of an era for the Society – John will be remembered as is Rob Farnsworth with the naming of a Ch. Show Stakes Class.
The Societies condolences are with Johns family and close friends.

Pat Dufty
The Officers and Committee of Driffield Championship Dog Show Society are deeply saddened by the passing of Pat Dufty.
A highly respected figure, Pat had a long association with Driffield, mainly supporting in Judges Reception at the start of each show day.
Our condolences go out to all Pat’s friends and family at this sad time.
Ian Sidgwick
The Officers and Committee of Driffield Championship Dog Show Society are deeply saddened by the passing of Ian Sidgwick. A much-loved and respected figure, Ian had a long association with Driffield, stewarding for many years and going on to judge his first group with us. Together with his wife, Pauline, he was a great supporter of the canine world – one which is now much the poorer for his loss.
